Medication Pick-up

We are coming to the close of the school year.   If you have any medication (prescription or over the counter) in the clinic, you will need to pick it up on or before the end of the school year. Any medication left in the clinic on the last day of school will be disposed of.  We cannot keep medication in the clinic over the summer.

 LMMS PTSA Membership                        PTSA

By joining the PTSA, you help us meet Lost Mountain's needs that are outside the scope of their budget. You also get great discounts, locally and nationally. When you go a step further and volunteer to help with events—or join our board— you set a fine example for our students to follow, and greatly encourage our teachers and staff.

Dear LMMS Community,

As you may know, we have two sweet 6th grade students who lost their home in a house fire the week before Spring Break.  They are currently living in a transitional housing situation while insurance works out the details.  The parents are now driving the kids to and from school each day and all of their clothing has been sent to the cleaners to remove the smoke and soot residue; it will not be returned until the end of May.  Their most immediate needs are gas for travel and clothing.  We will be hosting a gift card drive for the family.  They have requested gift cards to Target for clothing and to RaceTrac and Kroger for gas.  If you would like to donate a gift card, please give them to the LMMS Bookkeeper.  Thanks so much!

Parent survey

Lost Mountain Parents: We need your feedback!

Please complete the survey (see link below) to allow us to better plan to meet the needs of your child and our school community.  The survey is provided to us by the state.

Georgia Parent Survey

The Georgia Parent Survey contains 24 questions. Parents may complete the survey using their personal computer, smartphone or tablet. We encourage all parents to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online. The Georgia Parent Survey link is posted below.
